My Project Goal
The goal of this project was to optimize the company’s email marketing efforts by cleaning and segmenting the existing email list, driving customer engagement with targeted campaigns, and improving key performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and bounce rates. By focusing on segmentation, personalization, and consistent delivery, the objective was to turn email marketing into a reliable channel for nurturing leads, promoting products, and keeping customers informed.
Process
To achieve these objectives, I implemented a structured, data-driven approach which included 5 steps.
Email List Cleanup
Removed inactive and outdated contacts to improve deliverability and reduce bounce rates. Verified and updated contact information through direct communication with customers.
Segmentation
Organized email lists into meaningful segments based on customer type, behavior, interests, machine types, and purchase history to ensure campaigns were highly targeted and relevant.
Campaign Creation
Designed functional, visually appealing emails with clear CTAs and links to specific products, landing pages, and blog content to create a smooth customer journey.
Automation Setup
Developed automated workflows for newsletters, product updates, and promotional campaigns to maintain consistent engagement without manual effort.
Performance Testing
A/B tested subject lines, send times, and CTAs to refine campaigns for higher engagement.
